We have once again reached the end of December and as the cold weather hits, it truly feels like Christmas time. This Christmas and Holiday season, stop and take a breath. Enjoy the holidays and enjoy the memories, they will last longer than the gift you bought or the stress you felt. If the past two years has taught us anything, it is that sometimes we just need to slow down and enjoy the little moments in life.
Just a quick update on the vaccine mandates:
The federal contractor vaccine mandate is currently on hold while the courts consider whether it is lawful and can be implemented. The OSHA vaccine-or-test rule is also tied up in the courts, although a federal appeals court recently lifted the “stay” on that rule, which means employers will be required to implement it next month unless the Supreme Court puts it back on hold or the rule is determined to be unlawful.
