Next week, working people around the country celebrate Labor Day. This celebration honors the workers that have made our country great. The electrical workers from across the nation who rushed to New Orleans to restore power from Ida, to the nurses who have spent the last 18 months saving us from COVID, to our members who work every day to keep the power running for the residents of New York, we salute you on Labor Day.
I know it is not said enough, but thank you for the great work that you do, and enjoy your holiday this weekend. Happy Labor Day Local 97.
