I apologize for not being able to attend this month’s meetings; however, we are still in negotiations.

Hopefully everyone has taken some time to enjoy the summer.

Please be mindful that schools are back in session and watch for stopped school buses with children crossing the streets.

Jennifer Schneider has been appointed an International Representative position for the Third District and will be assigned as the Legislative and Political Coordinator for the State of New York,

Thank you for those of you that submitted comments to the DOL regarding the Industry Recognized Apprenticeship Program (IRAP).

Brookfield:

We are reviewing several outstanding grievances and setting dates to discuss with the Company.

NRG:

Negotiations continue to move along and will take most of September to complete.

National Grid:

If you have not already received a notice from HMS requiring proof of eligibility for dependents enrolled in the dental plans, one will becoming shortly.

We were able to have our Consumer Reps. work the NYS Fair this year along with our Gas and Overhead Line displays. The Fair had over 1.3 million visitors this year.

NYISO:

Looking to finalize contract so that we get copies printed.

St. Lawrence Gas:

Contract expires in February 2020.
