Ronald McDonald House Albany

Sunday, December 5, 2021

For the past 12 years local 97 and National Grid has given back to the community by spending the day at the Ronald McDonald house of Albany. Before Covid we could do anything from Christmas decorations to cleaning, dusting, counting pulltabs, trimming hedges and raking flowerbeds. As well as hanging Wreath and lights to decorate the outside of the buildings. Due to Covid we are restricted to only working on the outside of the buildings so not to compromise any of the families that are there and children having treatments. When all the work is done Local 97 members reach into their pockets and donate to help with the expenses. At this time we have raised $5,000 which National Grid will match.

See some pictures below of all their efforts!
