In the last Local 97 News, we asked our members to send in letters and make phone calls to Senator Hinchey to ask her to stop supporting a dangerous bill that would affect our jobs and the reliability of the grid. Many of our members took part in this action sending in hundreds of emails and calls. Thank you to everyone who took part. We continue to work in Albany to ensure that bills that will hurt our membership do not get passed.
In other news, the IBEW Founders Scholarship is now available on our website. If you have a child that is planning on graduating in June, please consider applying.
