Local 97 Represents All Members in a Fair, Equitable and Professional Way

As we continue to face issues related to inequalities, I want to remind you that Local 97 has always and will continue to represent all members in a fair, equitable and professional manner.

The following vision statement from the International is one that Local 97 will continue to support:

The IBEW will be a union that welcomes, supports and encourages diversity in our membership and leadership. We work to organize, fully respect and include all workers, regardless of our identity differences, in order to build a strong and indivisible IBEW for our families and our communities.

Please make sure you are registered to vote and exercise your right on or before November 3, 2020.

The 2020 National Grid Safety Survey is out. The information collected from this survey will be used to assess the management of safety at National Grid and to make enhancements going forward.

The survey closes on October 5th so please make sure you take it before then. As always be upfront and candid with your responses.
