Western Division Report

I would like to thank all of our Veterans for their service to our great country.

World war I officially ended when the Treaty of Versailles was signed on June 28, 1919. However, the fighting ended on November 11, 1918. That day is when the Allies and Germany put into effect an armistice (a truce) on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month. For that reason, November 11, 1918, was largely considered the end of World War I and named Armistice Day. That is why every year we celebrate our Veterans on 11/11.

We have 3 grievances for termination approved to arbitration. We are close to getting an arbitrator for two of the grievances. The third one was just approved for arbitration last week.
