Liberty Utilities: The Company is adding 4-6 new Union positions in Messina, to handle calls for the recent purchase of the Long Island Water Company.
PSEG: The 3 vacant positions did not get filled internally and now they will be filled from the street.
The signed agreement with the Company regarding the OSHA ETS Mandate is no longer applicable due to the Federal Government canceling the mandate.
The Union has had several meetings with CAMS to review the benefit package.
The sale of the plant is targeted for February 15th.
The Union has reached out to the Company to renegotiate the “Clothing Allowance Agreement” which has expired.
Extended the 4x10 hour day agreement.
Juneteenth is now an observed 8-hour holiday under Article XIII.
There have been several issues with Employee’s paychecks; please review your pay stub weekly.
The Company has issued new guidance for Temporary Time Off” for COVID related issues.
Brookfield Bear Swamp: Continuing to work with the Company to improve the communication between the Union and the Company in regard to safety. This is being accomplished through setting up a joint Union/Company Safety Committee as well as the Union reviewing safety procedures.
Brookfield NY: There are still several vacancies that the Company is trying to fill off the street.
Continue to review and approve safety procedures.
