We celebrate Black History Month - It began as a way of remembering important people and events in the history of the African diaspora. It is an annual observance originating in the United States, where it is also known as African-American History Month. It has received official recognition from governments in the United States and Canada.
 
Article XXIII committees will be meeting soon. Proposals for each group should be discussed with Chief stewards before we meet with the company.
 
The Local and the company have been hearing grievances.
 
The TOC has had 2 arbitration hearings one of which was a loss and the other a win.

Discipline Review is ongoing in Central Division and we are looking to have disciplinary letters removed per Appendix D 2 of the Labor Agreement.
 
Contract Extension booklets are being distributed which include new pay scales.
 
We are continuing to work on the 97C CBA negotiations. The current contract expires March 27, 2021.
