I hope that everyone had a good holiday and has come back rejuvenated and ready for the challenges we will face in the New Year.
With winter in full force, I want to remind everyone to take all the necessary precautions to remain safe. Remember to dress warmly, take your time in slippery, icy and windy conditions and look out for your coworkers on the job. Below are some important tips, from across our territory, on working safely this winter.
Across the state we continue to fight for your rights under the collective bargaining agreements. As we work through these issues, I want to ask every member to stay involved in Local 97 this year. Our local is only as strong as the members and our bargaining power is strengthened when you are active and engaged.
