Signed a Mutual Agreement for "Anticipated Vacancies". This will allow the Company to post and award upcoming vacancies for anticipated retirements. These jobs will be awarded prior to the Employee retiring, in order to provide for training time and a smooth transition into the new job.
Reviewed and approved Safety Procedures.
Held 3rd step grievance hearing. The Union and Company are working on a settlement prior to going to arbitration.
Working on the annual discipline review. Received a list of discipline in employees’ files from the company. The next step is to meet with the Company and mutually agree to have them removed from the Employee file.
