Habitat for Humanity recently received a large donation and is in dire need of volunteers to help move furniture to their ReStore location. The furniture will be used to furnish future Habitat for Humanity Projects.
As you all know, Habitat for Humanity does wonderful work in our community and they have asked us for our help.
Please help if you can by signing up to volunteer for this worthwhile cause. Sign-up information is provided below.
The Syracuse ReStore needs volunteers who can safely lift furniture throughout the day to help them take in a HUGE donation from a local hotel. Items include: bedframes, desks, tables, chairs, dressers, and more.
They're seeking volunteers from today through Friday April 5, beginning at 8:30 AM. To register for a shift please click here or visit the Syracuse Habitat website.
Volunteers will meet at the ReStore which is located at 308 Otisco St. Syracuse NY 13204.
Habitat for Humanity definitely relies on their volunteer community to keep things moving at the ReStore. All the profits from the store go towards constructing homes.
