Greetings from St. Louis. Myself and the other elected delegates from Local 97 are currently at the 39th IBEW Convention where we are hearing from our International's leaders, conducting the democratic business that we were elected to do and learning from our fellow union members.
Although we are in St. Louis, the business of the union goes on. I would like to congratulate our members on a very successful Western Division Picnic. The women of Local 97 have also been doing a great job of collecting food for the Ronald McDonald house. Keep up the good work. We have also had members competing in the National Gas Rodeo and members who will be competing in the International Lineman Rodeo. Congratulations to those who have already competed and good luck to our members in the Lineman Rodeo. I would also like to remind everyone that the election is coming up.
