This is the worst tick season in the past 20 years. Please remember to protect yourself, as Lyme's Disease is incurable and leads to a lifetime of complications. The tick kits and spray are available in the storeroom. Be sure to check yourself and others around you as ticks can go undetected. Bring this message home as safety acts are not just for you but also for your family.
With such am increase of rainfall this year, please be mindful that standing water in roads can be very dangerous, as we do not know the depths nor what is underneath the water.
Good luck to the Central National Grid Rodeo team this year as they head to Denver, CO, August 23rd to compete in the "National Gas Rodeo Competition".
This year the gas department will be participating at the New York State Fair, Friday, September 1st, with gas demonstrations at 2, 4, 6, and 8 PM. The booth for these events will be near Gate 4, next to the National Grid live line demonstration.
