12 Days and Counting

Friday, October 26, 2018

We are down to the wire with only two weekends left before Election Day.  Please continue to take part in Labor-to-Labor volunteer opportunities being organized by Area Labor Federations and Central Labor Councils across the state.

Events are posted and regularly updated on the NYS AFL-CIO website at: https://nysaflcio.org/news/find-labor-labor-event-near-you.

I also wanted to share a new resource that assists members in making sure their voice is heard on Election Day  - https://myunionmyvote.org/On this site, members can make a plan to vote, find their polling site, schedule a reminder email or text, and print a sample ballot with the New York State AFL-CIO's endorsed candidates.

If your are working shifts, and not able to get to your polling location on Election Day,  you may want to consider voting by absentee ballot.  Below are important dates to remember. I have attached the absentee ballot form for your use.
