Spring is almost here and we are still working hard for you, as we continue to work towards Exelon purchasing Entergy to keep our Fitzpatrick Nuclear facility open. We were busy over the last few months going around the state and explaining the new contract to our National Grid members. Thanks to those of you that made the explanation meetings, 74% of the membership voted to approve the contract. With the contract extension done, we can continue to focus on the many issues that are going on at the National Grid properties and work towards fixing them. We continue to discuss the possibility of breathing new life into our NRG facilities in the western division.
The Women's Committee is organizing their Annual Fundraiser for the Ronald McDonald House. Please pay attention to the flyers below as they have provided us with a number of events that you can attend and a list of donations that are needed.

Across the state, we will be having our General Membership meetings from March 14-16. I encourage all members to attend, become informed and take an active role in your union.
