Last week we remembered the September 11th anniversary. Please remember those who have passed due to the terror attacks on that day, especially our IBEW brothers and Sisters, and those emergency response workers that we continue to lose from the effects of 911.
We will be doing Steward training on October 16 10 am. till 4 p.m. Stewards and assistant Stewards will get first preference.
Western Division picnic will be on September 22nd noon. till 6 p.m. at Joseph's Country Manor in Depew. Don't forget the women's committee will be collecting adult and children's coloring books, crayons and colored pencils.
Local 97 will be holding a retiree benefit seminar in Orchard Park Union Hall, Thursday September 27th 6 p.m.
Service: We had a meeting about 2 man areas in Niagara Falls we are waiting for the company to get back to us.
The Women's Committee will be hosting another Cook for Kids at the Ronald McDonald House on Wednesday, October 24th. Will be sending out information soon looking for volunteers.-Jim Murty, ABM, Western Division
