The Western Division Solidarity Picnic was held September 10th 2016 at Joseph's Country Manor and was a huge success. I would like to thank our President/Business Manager Ted Skerpon's leadership for having the Local sponsor the Solidarity Picnics across all Divisions. I also want to thank Morgan Kiefhaber and Sue Sweeney for all the work they did on our picnic.
The Western Division Women of the IBEW Local 97 Power & Light Society collected donations to benefit the Ronald McDonald house of WNY. Sue Sweeney and her team collected over 2,000 Pop Tarts and granola bars along with over $300 to donate to the cause. We will continue to collect K-Cups for their pantry during all of our regular meetings. Thank you to all for your donations.
The next event for the Western Division Women of the IBEW Local 97 Power & Light Society will be 4 - 6 p.m. November 3rd at the Ronald McDonald House "Cooks for Kids" meal program.
