Western Division: Beware of Ticks

Tuesday, April 24, 2018

Spring time is here; remember to look out for ticks. Know where to expect ticks. Ticks live in grassy, brushy, or wooded areas, or even on animals, so spending time outside camping, gardening, or hunting could bring you in close contact with ticks. Many people get ticks in their own yard or neighborhood. Treat clothing and gear with products containing permethrin. Permethrin can be used to treat boots, clothing and camping gear and remain protective through several washings.

Here at IBEW Local 97 we are a proud team of men and women with a common goal. We all want to be  productive blue collar and white collar workers. "You will find men who want to be carried on the shoulders of others, who think that the world owes them a living. They don't seem to see that we must all lift together and pull together." --Henry Ford
