I attended the 3rd district workshop in Syracuse where we held a Utility Conference meeting to update the status of the CHP (Champlain Hudson Power) line.
IO rep Jim Schlosser will be doing the yearly audit with incoming rep Julie Cosenza.
BROOKFIELD
We have exchanged contract proposals and started negotiations.
CONSTELLATION/EXELON
We have scheduled the 3rd step grievance hearing for the vacation accrual issue on June 15TH.
We also have received information regarding the ability to arbitrate denial of access issues which will affect the Exelon and Entergy properties.
National Grid
Signed the COF (Customer Order Fulfillment) agreement, Stations Relay agreement and the TLS (Transmission Line System) safety advocate agreement.
The company has filed their rate case. We will be meeting with the company on Thursday May 10th to evaluate Local 97s position.
We meet with the 97c members to discuss upcoming contract negotiations. They will move forward with solidarity meetings.
NRG
We will meet with the company on Wednesday May 9th with the company for an update on the mothball filing.
PSE&G
We have consulted with our attorneys regarding the turnover issue and continue to pursue a settlement.
St. Lawrence
Still working on issues related to safety and their corporate policy.
NYISO
Vice President of Human Resources has notified us they are going to change benefits. We are waiting for more information. It happened previously and we were able to stop it.
